We are tremendously excited to launch FineArtCollector.ca.
We’ve spent months getting FineArtCollector.ca ready: carefully choosing an exciting lineup of beautiful Canadian art that we’ve priced aggressively.
We’re particularly proud to be able to open our online art gallery with art for sale from 7 Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) artists: David Blackwood, J.W. Beatty, Stanley Cosgrove, William Ronald, Adrian Dingle, Otto Jacobi and Tom Roberts (a Sampson-Matthews silkscreen).
Famous historical Canadian masters are represented, but so is the founder of the Painters Eleven group of abstract artists (William Ronald).
FineArtCollector.ca also opens with art with exciting contemporary artists, such as Travis Shilling and Cerj Lalonde.
Art works range from an 140-year-old watercolour (Otto Jacobi) to a tasteful nude (Stanley Cosgrove), modern portrait (Travis Shilling) and a fine example of Woodland art (Roger Kakepetum).
You’ll also see Canada’s people, landscapes and seascapes richly depicted: David Blackwood’s exquisite etching of Newfoundlanders witnessing a fire, W.J. Hopkinson’s colourful oil of the Haliburton District landscape, and Lila C. Knowles’ rugged coastal scene.
